Driving Around Looking for Ice
« on: Dec 14, 2018, 07:29 AM »
Yesterday I was driving around looking for Ice and after a quick stop at Bear Lake my buddy and I headed Northwest on Bear Lake Road until it ended and then headed east on Ellicott.  On the left side there were a couple of ponds and just past them there was what appeared to be a sculpture of a purple and yellow dragon (or something) that must be at least a hundred feet long.  Unfortunately you can't see it on the google street view but you can from the satellite.  Anybody know what it is or why it's out there?

I wish I had a picture to share - it was an odd sight!

Anybody else have any oddities that stand out while on the quest to find a place to get a line wet?

that is the legendary oggo poggo you both are lucky to have survived ....the oggo pogo is a cousin of the more well known loc ness monter ....records say before freeze up it often  comes ashore to feed  and store fat before returning to the depths of the lakes to hibernate....you shoul report this sighting  to the DEC immediately!

p.s. thank God you had a compass with you!
