What are your favorite go-to spots in the berks? Lots of choices and a variety to target.

I'm partial to the "high country" ponds in Savoy - - Burnett's, Bog and North Pond - - even though, with the exception of North (which has trout), they are just perch and pickerel fisheries.

I do love chasing flags but get a high off playing with electronics. While the search for monster pike is fun and generally what I target unless I’m in the Adirondacks, I think I’m most curious on where folks find themselves going as a default go-to. Since I live near great barrington and can get out often I want to try as many areas as possible but would love a starting point.  Going out Friday to scout the area. more than glad to post the reports.

The ones I go to the most are Center and Buel.

Used to be buel for me.  It got too much play on this site last year and with limited ice it was getting pounded into oblivion.  13 groups at 7 am is insane for that place.

That said, post lake names cautiously unless you want company.  I dont mind if people do it because Ill go hide in a different corner of new england or fish a huge fishery where it doesn't matter....but I watched the impact it had on Buel...

Buel does get crowded, no doubt. We stop fishing it for 2yrs or so. A-holes would set up on top of your top-up and jig.

I usually go to goose pond and go for trout. I also go to onota once and a while, and laurel lake one time. I usually don’t have any luck on laurel.

My go to is pontoosuc just because it's close by and access is easy. I also like Dumont pond but you need to walk out a ways which can be tough depending on conditions.
