What is your favorite rattle reel?

Where / how are you using it?

I have the catch cover rattle snakes in the wheel house and they seem to work fine.

There are some really cool ones out there also.

I use old fly reel reels. Pick them up at garage sales for cheap, work really well, just attached a rope and clip them to the wall. Rattle loud enough for me to hear and are durable. IF you have a spare rod you can even leave them on a rod and fight the fish....:-)
Its all fun and games until someone loses a walleye.......

I want to attach it to a portable unit to hang over the ice hole. Just a fun idea I'm mulling over.
I've been looking into 2 units Northern lights and Ultimate rattle reels.

I have Lindell rattle reels with jigging machine's mounted on them in my shanty. They are very smooth if you're after finicky fish. And they glow.

For the portable flip over shacks.....I found the catch cover rattle snake with the c clamp to work well hanging it from the roof pole. Otter use to make a rattle wheel that clipped to the flip over poles that worked well.

I know this sounds cheesy......but HT makes a rattle wheel that you hang off a 5 gallon bucket over a hole and it actually works really well. Bucket for the fish you caught holding the rattle whee.
