i was one of the 2 guys out on bartons today. getting on was sketchy, before the storm the shoreline where the shacks where was just huge chunks of ice that would separate and then refreeze when the water level fluctuated, i went last week and got on fine but the water rose so much that the ice didnt reach the shoreline and i had to get wet getting off, water was up to my knees. with that said those huge chunks are now covered up so please use extra caution getting on if you try. other then that there was plenty of ice and thats about all i got today

I keep my breathables in the sled for times like that.  No boots just the waders themselves they take up no space.
