Crappie bite was HOT 2nite!

Headed over to the ole crappie hole for a few hours this evening....ended up catching 21 total...19 of them were jigging!.Was a pretty good bite with a couple of real decent crappie!

Hey frozen nuts did you fish at arrowhead? We have not met yet.I've been going with RICH and SCOTT and had a great time as a beginner crappie fisherman.Kinda wondering if scott fixed the shack after wind damage last week.Well someday we shall meet at the crappie shack.

once again the crappie bite was red hot!! crappie shack is back out  with a new door!! MikeMunn got to break in his flasher and catch his first crappie, and second, and third ...and they just kept coming, i used a few different baits tonight as well as mike and i both offering them something different but they like the jigs tipped with whole shiners the best . some nice slabs too, ive been filleting for 40 mins and needed to warm up fingers  was also nice to run into shellback out there!! hope to see you all again!

  Like Billditrite said, the bite was on again last night!  Had a great time...thanks Scott!  The Vexilar has to be one of the best things I've purchased in a long time.  I got it out of the box, having never used one before, and had it figured out in no time.  Had my first fish within 10minutes and they just kept coming.  I was using waxworms and the crappie seemed to go for them, but billditrite was redhot with the shiners.  Never set out a tip-up and we had quite the pile of fish after just a few hours.  Flashers have changed everything for me now!  The crappie shack is quite the shrine too...very good job on that!  Was good to meet shellback for the first time too.  Hope to meet more of you guys in the future.  Might have to call in sick some Friday night...cough, cough, I feel something coming on!  LOL  Tight Lines, Mike

it was good to meet you guys yesterday.hopefully I can meet up with you guys again sometime and get in some good crappie fishing.we did start hitting the crappie right when we had to leave.
