Goose Egg At Mash
« on: Feb 19, 2017, 11:17 AM »
I arrived at Mashepaug Sat. around 2:30 pm to a full parking lot......a fishing derby was just about to end at 3:00, with many of the ice fishers not even having a flag.My two friends arrived and  setup on the east side along with me and quite a few other nite fishers for a six hour fishless outing (typical) of the Mash but it was still a great night  barbecueing dogs n burgers and shooting the bull.
Ice was 5- 6"  w/ the snow/ice melting and plenty of water on top.

Hmmm wonder why it's been so busy  ;D

Looks like they left the place a bit messy. Picked up some more crap again last night as I do too many times on the ice. The best is when someone buys a piece of sh** pair of creepers, they break and get left there for the next guy to pick up. Why does that happen so often where I fish. Must be there way of telling the next guy out not to buy that brand.

The www has a weird way of bring out the winners in society to places they may not have know about otherwise.  Sorry to hear you had to clean up after others.

Ain't that the truth, been there done that before. That's what happens when there's limited ice.
