Catfish through the ice?

So who out there are doing any good with the cats under ice? Using cut-bait or crawlers or? Where ya fishing for them may I ask?

I use 7 to 10 inch live minnows on Boysen and catch about 3 each winter and they are always over 10 lbs.  So I do not catch very many.  I caught one this year in 6 days of fishing.  It was 11 lbs.  I had one break 60 lb leader at north of Tough creek 5 years ago.  You just have to be very lucky.

I get several cats a year in Keyhole, jigging spoons and jigging raps. Mostly along bluff walls, makes me think there are some holes of small caves they hang out in.

I catch a couple nice kitties a year down at glendo, they've all come on buckshots with a full minnow.

I caught one 12lbs last year at Boysen derby in 45 fow jigging a mini pk spoon with minnow head jigging for perch lol they are kind of an odd species to target on purpose. Have caught a few at Glendo targeting walleye on jigging spoons and live minnows on tip ups.
