I would agree. I've played around with Frabill and BD brands then found some other stuff called Blue Lube. I also tried some White Lithium Grease but found it was too stiff for my liking. Beaver Dam seemed to be the least viscous and the slickest in terms of spool spin but i was concerned about leakage. I mix up a cup of all three until I get the consistency I'm looking for and then use a food injector and a little heat to pack my Beaver Dam tubes. They work great but most anything probably would for a year or two. Time will tell if the mix is optimal. I'm pretty cautious about how I store my gear too. I keep them in the basement (cooler in the summer) with tubes horizontal and flags up. Even though I use a bucket to haul them out on the ice I don't leave them stored that way when I get home.
