Need help finding Lakers this winter!!!
« on: Nov 10, 2016, 03:30 PM »
Fingers still crossed for good ice this year!
Will be my 3rd year out on the ice and i would love to target lake trout (never caught one before)

I can't afford a fish finder :(
If anyone has any advice on catching lakers the ol' fashioned way i would be much obliged.

What body of water are you targeting them on?

Caspian or Willoughby are easy enough places to catch them.

I haven't fished either lake yet so a road trip may be in order... was hoping to get out on Champlain this year!

On Champlain try off tabors point near the edge of the inland sea.
Probably could catch them there.
