Black lake lodging
« on: Nov 09, 2016, 10:46 AM »
I am looking to spend a few days this winter on black lake with the family. I am looking for lodgeing on the lake where i can walk out and target panfish....crappie and gills without having to drag two 7 year old girls across the lake. Any help would be much appreciated

Yeah I have been roaming that site a bit. A lot of the options are summer only. And most are north of the bridge and I was looking for something more on the main lake.

Not a lot for winter accomodations on the lake.  Black Lake Marine on the north end and Butternut Cove on the South.

BL Marine can be.  THe other end of the lake would require so traveling on the ice, to the other side of the lake.

that end as in north of the bridge? Have never been its been on my bucket list for years. I will have my daughters with me. They will only fish a bit but I want to make sure when they are with me I wont have to treck half way across the lake to get them on some fish. When they get bored they can go back to where we are staying and I can do my thing. Thanks for all the pointers everyone.

I have had permission from home owners on mile arm before but have always had trouble with a guy in there who seems as though he owns the whole bay. He locked the gate while we we in there and we had to cut the lock off. Watch out down in there. Guys a real beauty!

We stayed in "The Log Cabins" at Black Lake for a week in the Summer.   I think they have one or two cabins that are available in Winter......call them to check it out .
