The big bay is wide open and very blue, get your boats ready.  I live at the south end and there are a couple of inches of ice down around the station.  Hopefully the ice is still there for this upcoming weekend so this upcoming cold front can make some more.

Did borings today at the Raymond boat ramp :
100 yards offshore - 7 1/2 "
200 yards offshore - 6"
250 yards offshore - 5"

Saw two people out fishing just shy of the line between Brown's Point and Deep Cove.

6 inches of ice on the station.  I was all they way out to cheasley point but the wind brought it back below the river outlet.  Plenty of ice for a few

i fished the very southern tip of sebago today, there was about 6" of ice. ive only fished sebago once before is this what you guys call the station? anyways we fished for about 3 1/2 hours my friend got a nice 20" togue. then my other friend got a flag and when we got to the trap, line was flying off the reel and it was just about spooled. he grabbed the line and ended up missing it. ive never seen a togue take out line so fast so i was kind of surprised. we were thinking maybe a salmon? but it was right on the bottom in about 50 FOW. so who knows. about a 1/2 hour after that i lost a nice togue (about 20") right at hole. he took a swedish pimple a foot off bottom in about 65 FOW.
