Great Sacandaga THIEFS!!!

Mine and a buddy's shack was busted into last night down by wallys.They got me for 2xxl jet sleds,big buddy heater,my wife's new pink heritage tip ups in a frabil bag,a jaw jacket,and 5 black hole covers and other small stuff.If anyone hears  of any of this kind of stuff someone trying to sell around here that don't normally have it let me know please.If the people are dumb enough to tell someone and it gets out that would be great to know also.I would love to find them!!!     Thanks for and help or just keeping a ear open.

Can't leave anything in permanent shanty any more. That's another reason why its better to use portables.

Also check with your homeowners/ renters insurance company. They may cover part or all of your losses.

I don't know if it helps any to know this, but I was out there until 6:30pm that night. I saw no one. So, it happened after that time.

Sorry about your loss but why would you leave all that expensive stuff out where you can't watch it . It would be like putting 1000$ cash on your dash in the middle of the " hood"  even if its locked someones gonna steal it

Yup. Got to love it. Went to chaumont last year ice fishing for the weekend last day on the ice some one broke into my truck robbed me of every thing that was not tied down even took two days of fish that were in coolers. It was very sad getting off the ice to see what had happened. There are  lots of opportunists out there.they look for the easy score.. Just sucks when your a honest person that works hard for what you got.. You call them thieves i call them DIRT BAGS!!.      Sorry about your loss.

I had my car cleaned out when I was in college.  Took my fishing gear, along with my text books and notebooks for an entire semester. Afterwards I was tempted to place a bottle of Jack Daniels on my front seat spiked with LSD. Figured I could just keep an eye out for someone wandering around the park staring at all the pretty colors, and they'd be busted.
