Big Dan Hole

Serious lack of ice at my usual fishing spot for lake trout has me thinking of walking in to Big Dan Hole. Has anybody been out there this year? Long walk in to find a lack of fishable ice... Thanks, Joe

Walked in this afternoon middle is wide open. Couple inches on the shore but after tomorrow with the warm temps I don't see being able to get on.
