I HEARD THAT ON THE KENNEBEC ONE OF THE SMELTING DEALERS LOST 13 SHACKS AND HAD TO PAY 1,000 A PIECE FOR EACH SHACK!

One of the guys up in Gardiner has his shacks all cabled together in case that happens he can haul them in before they go down river.
