South of Arnprior? My dad and I with some friends of ours have been fishing open water there for the better part of 20 years. We always stay at Pickerel Bay Lodge and most years have had great success with the bass and pike in late August. (The walleyes are a different story) Just curious if anyone hits it up in the winter. I am pretty familiar with the lake, and thought it would make a nice road trip later this year. Thanks for any info you might have.
