Buying Live Bait

I,ve been looking around on the internet for two days , for a place to order some live minnows and shinners , but cant find anything . I was just wondering if anyone has ever orde live bait before , and if so where I would like to get some bait before the ice gets good again.

I've ordered mousies before and have seen worm/crawlers and the like, but I would think it would be pretty hard to ship minnows and have them arrive ALIVE, which is probably why you can't find anybody.
There aren't any bait shops in your area?  Ever think about trapping your own?
Are you SURE it's safe to walk on? Looks questionable to me!

Maine law states the following, FYI:
Importation of bait-fish prohibited.  It is unlawful to import into this State any live baitfish or smelts.

If you don't have a local bait shop try the pet store.  It would be almost impossible to ship minnows.  You could always use preserved ones.

Did a google search, this came up.  I don't know anything about the site,don't know whether it's  :angel  or >:D  but posted it for you as you stated you have been looking for two days.

Can't you trap minnows where you are?
The moon is much smaller than the earth, however, it is much farther away.
