Smitty sled

I made a smitty sled to haul my ice fishing gear, if I use my atv to tow it I have to have a ridged hitch how do I do that with a smitty sled?

That would probably be the smart thing to do. You'd have no control over sled with a rope only.

I would think the Smitty would have to be screwed/bolted/fastened  together as opposed to being able to be taken apart. Shappell makes a conduit style tow bar .. I   think you would have to have the front upright quite a bit forward .

I am building a smitty very soon... so I can stack my jet sled on top of my Clam 5600 suitcase, and ratchet strap it all down. Its gonna be good.

Yup...   Or two pieces  on each rope to the center at the end..

Been using it this for years.  I can not wait for any law enforcement to tell me it is "illegal" I will ask for the exact Enforcement Code, Jurisdictions, Ect...
