New record pike rumor

Anyone hear of a new Lake Champlain record pike being caught this weekend up near Alburgh? Rumor goes it was close to 30 lbs?

You'd think the VT Fish and Wildlife page would be announcing these recent records, including that perch.

The walleye record was broken in Champlain state record it was in field and stream 14.80 pounds I believe

If it was only close to 30 lbs it wouldn't be a state record . The state record came out of glen lake 30lb 8 oz.  the record for Champlain was 26 lbs even.
