Hello. Does anyone know of any good places to fish crappie through the ice

They get crappies at the earth dike end of Cuba Lake in deep water and there is a state parking lot and access off  South Shore road at that end.  They also get some crappies at the South end of Silver Lake and there is a state parking lot and access off West  Lake road on the South West corner.

I have seen some nice 10 plus inch crappies pulled from the south end of Small Boat, not many though!  I dont know about ice conditions in canal by Pillsbury along rt5, but that has produced calicos over the years.  Let us know how you do.

I work at the Nuke plant...there are some BIG fish in the lakes there!!! But its hard to sneak up on them, with all their eyes and large ears!
