Well redeyes, heres my buddys 400ex, it has just about everything you can do done to it, and it still doesnt even come close to comparing with my 450r, even when it was stock! For motor work he has a UM airbox with no lid, velocity intake kit, FCR carb, High Comp piston, stage 2 hotcam, port&polish. He still has nothing on the 450. But bigred, whats wrong with 2wd machines on the ice? Hell, I think going 80mph on the hard stuff is fun when the fishing gets slow, or ripping wheelies that you can ride forever, hell I had one going for the whole length of friends lake sunday ( I would say about 2 miles) I love 2wds!!

By the time you get the auger,tip-downs, bait pail, lanterns, coffee mugs, rods&reels, tackle box, food, brown bottles, stove and shelter loaded on one of them toys its even pretty hard going 5mph when you have to go through 1 or 1&1/2 foot of snow.
Even if you unloaded it, plus buzzing around at 80mph could make some icefishermen get ticked off.

that 400 is a nice quad, but ya I liek the 450r more. ther faster, more powerful, sick racing quad. hows the suspension on the 450r?I think Id rather go for kickstart then elec. what do you think. I probally wont be able to afford new one in the spring, but Ill have to wait and see.Gotta see what I can get for my dirtbike and my quad I have now.
Pain is temporary, trophies last forever
