Ice Duels tournament-Little Green Lake in Chisago City?

Hello all,
For those not familiar with Ice Duels, I hope you will take a moment and check out our web page and learn about this unique tournament. www.iceduels.com

I am looking at Little Green Lake due to the fact we are putting this tournament on in conjunction with the Chisago NAIFC, the Saturday of.  Those in town for that event can fish the Duels on Saturday rather than pre-fishing, if they so choose.  But those NOT fishing the NAIFC have a great, alternative tournament to fish that weekend.

The most important thing for a successful Ice Duels event is an area that holds a LOT of fish, in this case, crappie and bluegill.  Size and weight do not matter, this is a catch and release event that scores 1 point per fish.  I have spoken to several locals and they all seem to agree, the area from the new boat launch out to the narrows leading to big Green Lake has gills in the shallows and crappie in the deeper hole.

I would appreciate any input from everyone on that area, or another spot perhaps more conducive to just numbers of fish.  Or if there is another lake in that same close vicinity...Not asking for or looking to invade anyones big fish honey holes, just a spot that holds good numbers of fish with some varying bottom content/structure.
