First time out with the LX6

Pretty impressed with the unit, disappointed with the lack of fish that showed up on it.  Really liked the 6 color palate and all the different screen configurations.  The flasher dial is a little smaller than the LX-5 I am used to, but still found it easy to read.  Really like the looks of the chart mode.  I can see that coming in real handy in the Jon boat this spring/summer.
Mostly went with it over the LX7, b/c I did like the idea of it being a little more compact. Most likely its a little better on the battery, being it doesn't have as large of a screen and lower resolution.  Being $100 less didn't hurt either.

Congrats on the new flasher and great choice btw. If you ever fish in less than 5ft of water make sure you switch to open water mode. You will not see your jig in ice mode in less than 5ft, I tested this out myself and sure enough it does work.
