Never iced fished a Harwood. In fact I haven't ice fished in about 20 years but both my 8 and 10 year olds want to so I guess it's about time to get back into it. Over Christmas break I ran a K-9 trap line with the boys at our family hunting camp not far away and guys were ice fishing. The boys saw this and it got them started in wanting to fish there so we are thinking about giving it a try Sunday. Not even sure what to use or what the catch will be. I know from spring fishing we have caught trout and assorted panfish. I want them to get started catching some fish so they aren't board and take to it like they have with open water fishing.
