How long does your typical glow jig last between charges?

Not long, I like to zap them on every drop.

Depends on how fast the bite is. Once I get them going real good, I don't need to zap them every time down. Other times, about five to ten minutes.

Never used a glow jig but I know some guys swear by them.  I would like to give them a try sometime but I have a few questions:

-Is there a particular brand/style you like?
-Where can I find them?
-How do you charge them?
-Are they most effective at night?

Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Each glow color lasts longer than the next, when in the right order. Google it, there's a chart with all glow colors with corresponding times. I've seen it before, it's out there.   Glow baits are to be charged with an LED light. This is the best way to charge for longest life. Glow white/chartreuse I believe lasts the longest. Personally, I like red/pink, white, chartruese, and blue. These produce best for me on crappie, perch, and walleye. More fish will see yer bait and check it out. try all five of yer rods, each hole a foot apart, go all minnows on small trebles/single hooks. Except one, with some kind of glow jig/lure. Dead stick them, jigging the glow lure constantly or every so often. You should find that the glow bait and the straight minnows near that glow will catch most of yer fish. Good night time tactic.

check out CustomJigsAndSpins, moon jigs, Lindy or northland. They work all the time. Try adding a rattle jig that glows. You can't go wrong with a rattle/glow lure, I like northland best, then CustomJigsAndSpins.... good luck!

Thanks for the response guys.  I'm going to pick up a few and see if it improves my catch rate on my night trips for crappies.
