Repairs on ice shelter
« on: Dec 31, 2014, 03:01 PM »
Anyone ever have any issues with their ice shelters (I have an Eskimo Quickfish 6)? I have noticed that the eyelets where the ice anchors screw into the ice have gotten thrashed. Is there anywhere that people could take that to get replaced? Or is it just one of those things you would DIY to repair?

If it is out of warranty, then it would be DIY.  I believe you can order any size eyelit that you need from Amazon, or sometimes hardware stores/harbor freight carry a few different sizes.  I imagine they aren't too bad to repair and replace/rig.

Harbor freight carries eyelets and they are a piece of cake to replace just a 2x4 and a mallet,  line them up and WHOP! Your finished
