Hey out there. Anyone been out doin any crappie fishin in the kalispell area? Saw a couple shacks on the slough last night but heard no reports.

I tried on Egan couple days ago at night, no luck. Maybe they dont have any either? Not sure

Crappie bite on mcwinnegar was almost nonexistant. It could turn on any day though.

RE: Fresno - I caught a really nice crappie just off to the right of the walleye boat launch in that bay with the boat this summer. Didn’t catch any others on the lake that weekend though. Worth a try there though.

Curious what the size is like? Anything over 10-12" or are the mostly sub 10"?

Couple real nice slabs around 11". most have been about 8" tho.

I heard the same thing while out on smith today. Was told between midnight and 2am. Lots of big crappies. We will see.

Snappys can get you everything you need. Petes tackle (aka whiptail) is also a wealth of information on crappie fishing.

Bite was not on tonight. Moved lots and covered lots of water. Was only ones out there left bout 12:15. Hope it turns on
