S-cable for fl8

How important is getting the s cable for a fl-8. I usually fish water under 20ft.

Much needed if you are fishing in shallow water with heavy to moderate weeds.  Allows you to see much better into that cover.  I never had a need for it in 10fow or greater with an fl8.
