any old strikemaster polarvisions out there?
« on: Dec 15, 2014, 09:29 PM »
So my polar vision tail cap cracked and doesn't hold the battery in anymore.  The unit works great, when the battery is held in.  Does anybody have an old one that doesn't work that the tailcap is in good condition?  Neither Marcum nor Strikemaster can help me find a tailcap.

I had a Norcross FishHawk I dropped and busted the tailcap threads. There was maybe half left but would not stay tightened for very long. I used some of that "Rescue Tape" stuff to secure it. It works well, doesn't get all sticky or frozen like other tapes but it is expendable to change or remove batteries. Just a suggestion...
To fish or not to fish? That's a stupid question!
