« on: Jan 02, 2015, 02:24 PM »
I just built a tip down out of some things i had laying around and wanted to try one out for crappie. Do people use just live bait or is there other rigs and small plastics that will work....just wanted to see some ideas...thanks
it's all fun and games till somebody looses a walleye!!

There are many of us wanting to what you built, Italianice.

Is it a true tipdown, tipping completely down at the slightest touch, thus giving slack line to the fish ?

The color red seems to be an attractant for crappie.

Show us photo of it set and tripped, please......  ;)2

I'm guessing you tried to post a photo on here.

Can't do that, get a free account at "tinypic.com" , put your photos there and only bring the img code back to your post.    ;)2

Click "preview" to see if it worked.

Oh, the nice tipdown.  Good.   Not just a rod holder, ha.

Did you put your photo(s) on a "photo hosting site" ?
