Shanty on the ice!

On boxing day I got the shanty out on the ice. I started setup around 1:00pm and was all done by 3:30pm, and fished to 6:00pm. The ice was a foot and a half.
It was a great day to be on the ice one of the best temp I have ever had for the holiday season at +2 and partly cloudy.For my first trip of the season I did see one fish on the camera but no fish were caught, oh well still great to be out and fish are a bonus.
Woo hoo, no fish to clean.

WW.....sure would be nice to see some pics of your setting up....and some aquaviews as well.....pressure's on bud....Grump

Grump, Next time I am out I will snap a photo of the shanty. And if I see any more fish take one of the aqua-vu screen. I am along the edge of a weed bed but, did not see much action just the one fish in the background, not even sure what it was just a black shape moving along. I though a weed bed would have lots of action but not much so far.

....I would double-check your shanty location....could be someones lawn at the highwater mark....Grump

LOL, I hope not Grump, I am in 15 feet of water so if that is the case the lake really rose.
