Bibs for teenage girl
« on: Oct 03, 2014, 05:18 PM »
Just ordered my daughter some brand new whit mickey boots. Now I need to get her some good bibs. She has out grown her walls blizzard proof bibs. I was wondering what the lady's or their men out there recommend for a good pair of bibs for ice fishing. The kid has always accompanied me wearing those old bibs and a pair of sorrel boots. But wet feet and cold have taken there toll on her wanting to get out there with me. Any help would be appreciated. She can fish with the men as long as she is warm.

I seen women's ice armor at gander mountain last season they were maroon and gray if there as good as the mens they would be good and I would check your local salvation army if you have one near you I have seen some real good stuff there and very cheap if she is still going to grow you dont want to shell out a lot of cash if she is going to out grow them I got my daughter a great jacket and bibs there for like 20 bucks I forget the name but she was real happy with them and she didnt out grow them so for as much as she goes out anymore they will last her a lifetime

I believe Strkyer/Striker Ice has a line of women's clothing no idea what the size range is but it is a place to start. The bibs will not be cheep since they contain floatation materials. You also can try sending a personal mess to a member screen name of Chum Bucket he has two daughters who accompany him on the ice. He lives in Maine.

here is the ones you ordered for her

http://clamoutdoors.com/store/icearmor/womens-cold-weather.html

if this is not warm enough for her check out these other two models that are new this year in the Ice Armor line up

http://clamoutdoors.com/store/icearmor/icearmor-women-s-extreme-weather-parkas.html
http://clamoutdoors.com/store/icearmor/icearmor-womens-extreme-weather-bibs.html

this suit is the same as the men's extreme suit but is the women's version of this.

the other suit to check out is the women's lift suit. the added benefit of this suit is the floating ability.

for a good pair of warm boots check out these they are new this year too.

the other thing that will help keep her feet warm is using a good liner sock and wool sock combo

these are what I recommend.

hope this helps you out.

Thanks for the info. Her suit arrived and is a little big, which is good. She may grow more. Plus my wife tried it on and it fits but is a bit long. That's no problem because I have the same problem with my grey suit. Once boots are on its fine. Now ether one of them can go with me, just not at the same time.  Plus I don't put on my suit and nether will she until we get to the lake. Crappies beware there will be two of us hauling you out of the hole this year. We both will be warm now.

I know what you mean about them growing fast. I just got the youth lift suit for my son this year and have a feeling I will have to get the next size bigger next year. I guess time will tell.
