Wanting to know your best jigs for Lake Trout! Tubes Airplane jigs a tube on a Airplane jig :). Spoons drop rig? Have you tried flashers?
Lets go catch some fish!

Tubes tend to work well up here, but have caught them on spoons with cut bait also.  I use a show down all the time and break out the camera once in a while.

I try it all.caught planes,clackers,tubes, spoons,spinners,jig tails,swim frogs ,swim baits and baits. They all work.
MARCUM LX5 I USE not necessary, but it tells me they down their.
Caught plenty with out it.

Tubes also work well here in Maine...and X2 on the Showdown use mine all the time.

I've had great luck on the Swedish pimples, both white and gold as well as perch Rapala jigs in NH.

Nothing like a laker crushing a jig.
Marking anything?

Everything white here in NY! Swedish pimples, PK flutterfish, power tubes, I've also caught a few on my little white and purple tear drop flicker ( that's what I call it ).

Best luck for me is 1/4 to 3/8oz white deerhair jigs tipped with fresh cut suckermeat. Fresh being the key.
