Iced this years first walleye

Had to go out after work something inside said go. About 6:15 got my fish a nice 17" eater. I feel good went after it, before was just by accident, this was deliberate.  ;D thanks chubby darter!

Nice job!!! Did you happen to be fishing by consumers?  I am thinking about trying that area for the first time this weekend.

close, was at lake Columbia. may not sound like much but to a novice like me its an accomplishment.

Always is and a great accomplishment at that!  I have been looking to get my first eye as well. I have heard that there have been a lot of lookers but no biters at consumers. I did just find out that a buddy has access to Columbia so we might go out there this weekend.

I hope your not looking at the one in my avatar, that fish was from the Detroit river, in the spring time 12 years ago.
