PB crappie today!

went to crystal lake in Manchester this morning. beautiful day to be out. non stop action until we ran out of bait. tons of perch, bass and pickerel and my new PB crappie at 14" on the dot. I was so stoked when I pulled it up, thought it was a nice LM when it first swam by the hole, I was amazed at its size.. quite the slab. one hole was producing non stop perch every time we dropped a shiner down so instead of wasting all our bait I dropped down a Swedish pimple and caught a big blue gill and some perch and my friend caught a nice little crappie. all in all a fun day.. 8" of ice with 6 or so inches of snow on top.

that is a great crappie congrats, never woulda guessed they got that big in there. be careful keeping and eating anything out of there tho, i personally wouldnt haha. thats a slab  :tipup:
