great picture. Still looks like some open pockets but with the low temps this week it should be ready soon.

Didn't check the ice.  Just passing by on my way to kill bambi.  There was some opens spots though and a big one on the other end were some geese were keeping it open.

Well from the height of that sun, looks like your about 25 minutes late in getting to your stand.   :o

Nice picture!  Does anyone fish this lake regularly?  I have had some success during softwater season, but just never got around to fishing during winter.

dwayne you are right I was late getting to my spot but I did shoot a deer that day!! 



Fishmon I have heard that a few locals fish it during ice and I have seen shanties out there.  I hear they get some good panfish.
