This is how cold its been in around pittsburgh. I was goin to take my minnow trap to a creek and put it in for friday to get some chubs for tipups. I get there and the creek which is mostly rapids was frozen solid. it was so thick i walked across it!! And the worst part about it is.................... ...................... ...................... ...................... .............






I saw the chubs swimming around underneath the ice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  hers a tip dont broadcast your honey hole i use cheese and dog food in my wifes stocking keeps them from eatin' so they dont soil the water  also get your self a cheap ax  chop hole to set your trap dont give it a chance to  freeze in   mofish

Good Idea with the stockings. I use dog food but they gorge themselves on it and once in the bucket they regurgatate and foul the water.

What does your wife say when she finds her stockings are missing??

she fishes also she gives it up for the fish her biggest to date 22" 4poundish bass both are keepers  how about cans of cat food with holes drilled  in them   merry christmas        mofish
