Wanna be Hali jig
« on: Dec 16, 2013, 04:41 PM »
Blinged up a kastmastser with a couple small blades and added a few beads and a glow hook threaded on some coated steel leader and crimped. Might be a bust but just might work

Good idea. Love it when folks are thinking. I mess with things all the time. Got one I call a Psycho Rig for kokanees. When they are not biting the regular stuff it seem to get their attention and draws them in. Will try to get a pic up one day.

Its just a coated steel leader made by Berkley. Not sure who makes the sleeves. You can find them in just about any sporting goods store though.

The bead section of a craft store is a great place to pick up crimp beads for making droppers/leaders

Thanks fellas. Starting to question the big ugly crimp above the glow hook. Either way I'll be trying it out on Thursday for perch. Might try doing the same rig with fluro and a knot instead of a crimp
