Flasher questions

Alright guys. I know this has probably been brought up multiple times but I thought I would ask. I am looking at getting a new flasher in a week or two and torn between brands. I had a fl20 last year and think if I went back to a vex I would go with a fl20. However I was looking into humminbirds and you seem to get a lot more for your money. They also have the digital depth reading on the screen. What is everyone's personal opinions on flasher, what's the best and why? Thanks guys

I prefer the advantages of the Marcum digitals, quiet and able to customize the screen to your liking and prefer the target sepereration of the Marcums over the others....Plus they are made in Minnesota, not just assembled there....

man that's like saying you have an 08 Chevy and thought about buying an 08 Chevy til someone tells u about a ford........honestly the fl 20 is a real good unit  honestly marcum may be good by why fix it if it isn't broke

I upgraded from my FL18 to a Marcum LX7.  WOW is all I got for it, I like being able to fine tune it to my liking.  I was fishing perch last weekend and could tweek it so I would be able to see on the screen if my minnow head got snatched!

On the other hand I did buy the new digital depth/battery gauge attachment for my FL18, my wife or daughter uses it when they tag along.

Well I guess I forgot to mention I sold the 20 last year. And if these flashers can be compared to chevy and Ford's, which one is the ford? Love me some fords!!!!
