suggestions for the clueless

Hi,

A friend and I are from Sioux City and want to catch some Eyes/Pike and Perch.  Not wanting to necessarily spend a ton of time driving.  Can any PM me or give a few suggestions up near Brookings/Webster? 

We're fairly new to the ice fishing thing and never caught a Pike or Walleye through the ice.  Tired of the frustration of the IGLs and nothing but gils and crappie around here.

Try McCook Lake if your in Sioux City. Some nice eyes and perch in there.

I've heard........but not in large quantities in McCook (so I hear).  Going up west of brookings area.........On 12/14

Sinai, Brush, Twin/81, Whitewood, Thompson,Henry are West of Brookings and have what you are looking for.  Check the state surveys at: http://gfp.sd.gov/fishing-boating/tacklebox/lake-surveys/southeast-lakes/default.aspx

All should have good ice after this cold spell.

Can anyone PM me or suggest which of the lakes around Thompson is producing??  Perch, walleye....or both......just want to catch some fish.
