First Ice 13/14

First ice action in NE Nebraska, not the biggest fish but fish none the less.  Think we caught about 20 gills, 1 crappie & 7 bass.

Great Photos, sounds like after the next few days we will be making more ice! How thick was it?

That would appear to be a bohemian alps farm pond to me.   Knowing Sparks measurables, at least 4 inches
Where's the ice

EW you are correct on the location, it's just a pond.  Ice about 3-4 on the West side.  East side we couldn't get on.  Not nice to call guys chubby.  ;D Fish-icer the rod was sweet, was a good investment.

The bass came on a blue frostee spoon with waxworms, the rods run $89. Just go to tunedupcustomrods.com.  Bricker makes awesome looking rods also.

Sure like the looks of those rods. I went round and round in my head about a month ago on whether to break down and spend that kind of money on a rod. I fell for the cheap st croix premier instead. Bought two of them and one was good the other has issues with the guides not lining up. Sooo pry should have just saved my $50 on those and put towards a good one. oh well.......

I have been thinking about getting a custom and been looking at DH and like the spring bobber.  I like the looks of brickers.   Never seen the tuned up before
