Waterhen Lake
« on: Mar 17, 2013, 07:47 PM »
Absolutely killed it at Waterhen on saturday, which was awesome because we stunk it up on Friday.  Big gators finally starting to get at it.  Just about lost a 14 Lb hawg halfway in/out of the hole.  But it was damn cold, good thing we stopped for pancake breakfast at Dorintosh winter festival before heading out.  Gonna haul the rhino's out for the last weekend so we can fish the mouth of the river.

I've never had any success for winter wallys there and this year I didn't get to try the flasher for scouting as much as I would've liked.  Always done good for pike on ice and walleye fishing in spring and fall is usually good.  Anybody else have a winter walleye spot on waterhen?
