Losing Ice
« on: Feb 21, 2013, 02:57 PM »
From all the reports it looks like ice fishing is about done around here. Guess I'll have to drag the boat out and start hitting the river. Real close and better than driving around looking for safe ice.  :-\

I'm glad I didn't read those reports.  I'm still finding ice and plan on going all next week yet.

Me too, forecast looks good for the next couple weeks but that doesn't mean it will stay accurate! Fingers crossed

You guys talked me into it! So I'll try it yet this weekend but I've seen a lot of post about bad ice so be careful Guys. Me with a peg leg and bad heart have to be a little more cautious. Good Luck!

You'll do OK Joe.  I fished Thurs. with two guys and one was in a wheel chair.  Did he have a good time.
