Day 2 Hoilday Harbors
« on: Feb 16, 2013, 05:39 PM »
Another great day. Total Pike iced today was 16 bringing the 2 day total to 30. Also got a nice bass today and some slime darts. Fishing Dillenback bay before heading home tomorrow. 6.5 was the best today and I got one on the Nor'Easter. A lot of fun on the rod.

The two bays we were on when we went were max depth of 4-ish feet.  It's shallow.  We're fishing just leaders down most holes.

I don't quite notice any shanties in the back ground. Does Bruce have them out? And how much ice? Thanks.

Ramble on.

We were fishing 6' to 14' of water. Did not venture out to the channel in the passage. Yes Bruce has his shanties out. They are a little closer to the shore than normal because of the earlier ice conditions. We were on a solid 12" or so. There were trucks out in the area today. We fished about 2' off the bottom. Down the ramp and go left on the ice about 1/4 mile or so. 5th shanty down out from there was hot area.
