I just bought an 8 inch Fin Bore III and I love it....It has the offset handles like the Nils and is amost as good as a Nils Hand Auger....I would have rather had one of them but they are hard to come by here in Ontario Canada.

Swede bore is close kin to the blue Mora auger in terms of pitch and shaving.  I'd skip it.

I've had an 8" Normark Finbore III with folding offset handle for at least 20 years and cuts awesome.  A fish'n buddy has an OLD original 6" Finbore which is now the Nils and after I sharpened it up it is amazing.  I can cut 2 holes with his 6" faster than I can do 1 @ 8" and the nice thing about the original Finbore/Nils is that it cuts straight through the ice without hanging up/binding at the end of the cut.  That is a real hassle with the Finbore III / Lazer style blade auger.  Offset handles rule so go with the Normark Finbore III.  Been looking at a 6" Normark Finbore III and was hoping to find a 6" Lazer with non made in China blades on sale end of season and put the offset handle from my 8" Finbore III on it.
