not from your area but sure someone out on the ice will be willing to show you what they do ...everyone has a different style of fishing with the equipment they have so it's all the same but different approaches...My suggestion would be  to make a scouting trip to a lake where guys are fishing and walk around and ask them questions on the techniques and what they are targeting some will tell all and others won/t give up anything...Don't be rejectted by this,,,they are or think they have the secret to that monster catch,,,,collect info you can use for the type of fishing you want to do....I fish from dark to dark with the mentality they only make so much ice and I'm on it as much as I can.this might not be good for taken children so you might have to adjust your times to make it enjoyable for them.Hope this helps...pm with any questionyou might have,,,, Fin

Another option is to call the regional office of the PFBC and see if they have any ice fishing clinics going on. Could be "iffy" depending on your ice conditions out there, but alot of time they will hold clinics at State Parks during "winter fest" activities.
I don't think your real close to Raccoon Creek State park or Hills Creek but they both have events listed here... http://pfbc.state.pa.us/Calendar/Default.aspx

The problem with the gene pool is that there is no lifeguard.
