We have 12-14 inches of ice don't forget last year 1st place paid over $3500 we're  anticipating huge crowd. There again we will be doing spot checks on the ice, no fishing before 8 o'clock and don't forget cheaters will be prosecuted. If you catch a fish bring it in wiggling!!!

I'm considering it.  What are the rules? How many holes/poles, can you have a shack, are they pre-drilled, etc? Is it largest trout, or cumulative weight?

Fish from 8 to 2 largest fish top three pay. yes a shack and everything fish and game allows which is two poles per person.  show up anytime drill all the holes you like but don't start tell 8.  weigh in your fish at the boat launch still flopping before 2.  I think they pay for largest sucker too

I plan on trying a perch assault tourney next year, sounds like they run a good event, I like where the field is level and skill and luck play a factor.

No cheating this year.  I heard that the guy that has been winning it and Frances for the last few years was caught last year and is now band from all derbies.   Bringing fish in from his private ponds.

I wanted to thank all that participated.  After several years of being only ounces away I finally placed.  Best part was the warden watched it being caught.

Congrats! FINALLY someone wins on thier own merit.    How much was first place?    Hadnt heard that the crew of cheaters got banned but sure hope they did.
