I think summer isn't my season, I am more of a fall and winter. I hate that commerical where that dumb chick sees the leaf fall and screams, if you hate the weather here then move because canada is known for snow, mexico is known for sun and hot. I hate the hot, you can dress for cold but you can only take so much off before you burn. I think I am looking forward to icefishing more then hunting (what is wrong with me).

Addict? whos an addict? I can stop when ever I want to, in fact I haven't gone Ice fishing since March and I won't go again until November or December, what is that 7 or 8 months, oh yeah I got this beat. But all this talk makes me think I will get my icefishing stuff out of the shed, but not because I need to look and hold my stuff, no I just want to make sure it will be around when the water gets hard (lots of stuff has gone missing in town lately).

The time is coming.  Ive had the itch ever since April 1st last year when I purchased an old RTS flasher.  I cant wait to use it.  It aint no vex but it wil serve its purposes.  I caught a glimpse of my ice rods and tip ups yesterday and I am sure gettimg pumped.  We still need to get a power auger this year.  With the amount we where going out last year the hand auger just wouldnt do.  Especially when you drilling through 4 feet of red river ice 8)

A while back I picked up a couple of new ice rods and some nice tip-ups at United...pretty decent price.  Today I took the Jiffy power head to Cummings for a bit of work (primarily clutch)...the guy asked if I was in a rush to get it back...told him I'd be OK since I have a hand auger for first ice  ;D

Wind is blowing, leaves are flying all over the place...it's getting closer  ;D

I got the auger back a while ago...very reasonable...maybe I should go out to the garage and fire it up  ::)
