I hear lots of stories about that pond. Does it get fished out early?
I just want to go ice fishing and ignore my adult problems

I am excited to hear Tewksbury is firming up. Did you stop by Upper Valley Outfitters for bait? Steve said he was selling bait to folks headed to Tewksbury. My experience at the pond has been very hit or miss. Fish and Game  drop a few real pigs in there each year.

good advice but i find it more fun to watch everyone having a good time fishing is suppose to be fun and exciting not a competition amoung people i agree keeping your "honey holes secret" but letting people know where you are is a personal preference.

Newfound.  Last week there was reports of people fishin the middle of the pond but be safe i you are to venture it didnt look very safe in the middle.  Best o luck to everyone venturing there any day onthe ice is a good one weather it be one flag or a few its a day away from everything!

BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL THERE IS ONLY 2 INCHES OF BLACK ICE AND ABOUT ANOTHER 2 OF SNOW ICE ON THE SHORE LINE .THERE IS NO SNOW ICE IN THE MIDDLE ONLY BLACK ICE AND ITS THIN !!!!!ALSO WANT TO ADD THAT IT IS VERY INCONSISTANT ON THE SHORE.WHERE EVER IT IS DEEP IT IS VERY THIN..YOU CAN SEE THE DROP OFFS IN THE ICE FORMATION ..BE CAREFUL AND USE A CHISEL WHILE YOU WALK .I HAD MINE GO THROUGH WITH 1 HIT SEVERAL TIMES..GOOD LUCK ..OH BY THE WAY I GOT SKUNKED YESTURDAY ;D

I saw that guy walking out towards the middle, some people just dont think.  the ice is definatly still dangerous I think you make a good point finless.  If you go bring a ice chisel pay attention and stay towards the shore line.
