I would like to thank everybody who helped me out on my Rainbow Trout thread! (gofish, Big Arn, and others.). I managed to land my first ever Rainbow trout through the ice! It wasn't easy or a big fish, but I got one!
I don't know what it is with my obsession with trout (must be because where I am from downstate, we have NO trout!...)
Now that I have a rainbow under my belt, I would really like to try to get a Brook or Brown trout! I have heard that Brook trout are hard to find through the ice and even harder to catch. But I am up for the challenge! Can anybody help me get started and point me in the general direction?
I have never even heard of ice fishing for Browns, so I don't even know if that is a possibility, but if it is, I'll definitely give that a try too! I have already caught Splake and Lake Trout, now all I need is Brook and Brown!
Thank you everybody!
