Checkin in!
« on: Oct 16, 2012, 09:11 PM »
Evening all!!!

I'm pretty pumped this year!  I recently relocated to Rocky Mtn House.  I plan on hitting up some trout lakes for opener.  How about everybody else?

Trout, walleye, pike, perch......ling?  What's your species for opener??

Have a safe ice checking season.  I am really hoping to be on ice by the end of the month!!!!

I go for trout to start the season, mid November has been my first day over the last 4 seasons. Early December I can usually get out for pike on lakes that arent closed for the whitefish spawn.
A bad day of fishing beats anything else I'd be doing today.....

Ill be chasing walleyes on Pigeon as soon as the ice is good to go. Than later in the season Ill make my annual trip up north for some awesome multi species fishing on some back lakes!!!  Boat is winterized, and its time to blow the dust off the auger and get ready for hardwater.
A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.
